IAN MCMASTER

As you would have seen on the website, this 12/8 march was written in memory of my first Piping Tutor. I like to think of how the way the tune passes through moods was a representation of his life and the struggles he had with brain cancer. He was a great man and teacher and I hope that he would be proud of this tune. This tune was first played by Simon Fraser University Pipe Band and has now been played around the world by top pipe bands as well as youth bands and soloists.
