Is this a ticket?

No—this is a fully-refundable reservation credit. You’ll be invited to buy during the Pioneer's Pass presale. 

What if my plans change?

Self-refund any time until 14 days after we announce the dates/venue (or automatically by Jan 31, 2026 if we haven’t announced). Simply email hello@mdpiping.com to request a refund.

Can I transfer my reservation?

Yes—before on-sale, just email us to transfer to another attendee.

I’m coming with a band/school.

Great—band packages get extra benefits. After purchase, we’ll email a 60-second survey so we can look after your group.

What level player do you have to be to go?

This is for everyone, beginners through to professionals. Inspiration awaits.

How do I know when the sale starts?

After you reserve a Pioneer Pass, we’ll give you at least 14 days’ notice before the event-details announcement. On announcement day, you’ll get both a text and an email with your private presale link, the exact start time, and your 48-hour window to buy.

Founders Deposit Terms. A US$50 deposit reserves access to a 48-hour presale for the Modern Piping & Drumming Retreat (Spring 2026). The deposit is fully refundable until 14 days after Modern Piping announces final dates and venue. If Modern Piping does not announce by Jan 31, 2026, deposits will be automatically refunded in full. One (1) $50 credit applies to one (1) retreat ticket at checkout. Limit one per person. Deposits are not tickets and do not guarantee admission if you choose not to purchase during presale or public on-sale. Transfer permitted before on-sale by written request.
