Pipe Major - Grade 1 Scottish Power Pipe Band - I have been using the Tone Temple to ship chanters across to the members of the ScottishPower pipe corps who live in Northern Irelan... view mored. This has worked with great success and stopped the reeds from drying out in transit. It helps maintain the moisture levels so that the chanters are going as well as when I sent them. The Tone Temple exudes quality immediately upon handling, much better than the pictures. The rich look and feel of genuine leather is timeless with embossing a bonus. The weight of... view morethe unit assures me that my chanter is well protected and worth the additional weight in my pipe box. After 40 days of use, the added benefit of reed stability is accurate. I've found warm up time is noticeably reduced as is time spent positioning tape. I found using the Tone Temple in conjunction with a chanter top gave me the best predictable results. It's important that you maintain the moisture stick to optimum level for the system to function properly i.e determine how many days you can go before adding water as directed. This helps maintain the interior humidity level. (Tone Temple™ I review - Piper with Prince Charles Pipe Band) view less

I’ve been using the Tone Temple for about 6 months now and I'm very happy with it. I find that the steady moisture content in my chanter reed as a result of using TT, means that my... view morechanter is ready to play straight out of the tube. Less time is required making tuning adjustments and often no adjustment is required to pitch in with my Pipe Major. I have been using the TT side by side with open moisture control chanter caps and find it far superior. (Tone Temple™ I review - Piper with City of Blacktown Pipe Band) view less

So far... so good! I usually play 1-4 professional solo gigs a week and absolutely need my pipes to work and sound great every time I pick them out of the case. This can be prett... view morey tricky here in Sydney where the climate can be bone dry one day, and very humid the next. I've coupled the Tone Temple for my chanter with Jori Chrisholm's Tone Protector on top (which fits perfectly) to ensure that the reed is perfectly maintained and perpetually in-tune, allowing minimal maintenance and set-up. Thanks Lincoln - makes my life so much easier and pipes so much more dependable. Loving it! (Tone Temple™ I review) view less
